Bio:

Joey Xiao, Ph.D., is the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at MediLink Therapeutics. He joined the company in 2021 and is primarily responsible for overseeing target selection, non-clinical studies, CMC development, and business development. With deep operational expertise, he has successfully led several innovative ADCs into the clinical stage, as well as reached several licensing collaborations with different multinational pharmaceutical companies over the past 2 years, including ZaiLab, BioNTech, and Roche, with a total deal value exceeding USD $5 billion.

Previously, Joey was the Biologics R&D Head (VP) at Kelun-Biotech, where he led 15 innovative drugs (including monoclonal antibodies/bispecific antibodies/ADCs) into clinical trial stages. Two monoclonal antibodies and two ADCs have been submitted for BLAs under his leadership.

Joey holds a B.S. degree in Life Sciences from the University of Science and Technology of China and a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
